Daydream Cloud Hat

This navy blue cap is embroidered with light blue thread to represent the color of the sky and the floating shapes that we as earthly inhabitants get to gaze at daily as we ponder the meaning of life.

The Cloud Hat uses lettering I hand traced from an old Letraset font.  I love the slightly imperfect quality you get from working from physical type rather than recreating it digitally.

"What is Letraset? Letraset is a brand of dry-transfer "instant lettering" and graphic art materials used to quickly apply pre-printed letters, numbers, and symbols onto paper or other smooth surfaces without a traditional printing press. People would use letraset's on printed publications, like newspapers and magazines before computers made them. We have an old set at the Hearsay Office that is super fun to play around with."  (the hearsay is the local newspaper here in Bolinas, every friday I get to be the editor and put the paper together)
