8'4" Tyler Warren Wayne Lynch Evolution Model
8'4" x 22" x 2 1/2"
Tyler Warren knows how much we love the Transition Era so he shaped us a special run of boards he designed with specific surfers and films in mind. This model in particular comes from Wayne Lynch's surfing in the iconic 1969 surf film, "Evolution" by Paul Witzig. This highly functional rendition of Lynch's boards during this time period relax some of the exaggerated design components of the late 60's to make for a more user friendly ride. The wide point is set back with a pulled in round tail and a blunt yet pulled in nose. The bottom contour starts out flat with a light roll and then transitions into a light spiral vee to vee out the tail. The rail foil is boxy and forgiving with a low rocker profile that is gradually stretched out. This is a great board for more energetic Transition Era style surfing in medium sized and small surf.
