8'3" 1968 Rick Surfboards

This 1968 Rick Surfboards is truly a prime example of Evolution Era design and shaping. The wide point of the board is pushed very far foward that transitions into a steep, pulled in pin tail. The rails are relatively foiled the whole length of the board, starting as turned up in the nose, 50/50 mid way through the board, and turned down the last third of the board. The bottom contour is very rolled the whole way through, and the rocker profile is relatvely flat with some noticable S-Deck. The orginal waveset fin is even included with the board. The Daydream Research Center curates a selection of boards that are best suited for intermediate or higher skill level. The design attributes of these boards can be difficult for those with less surfing experience to enjoy. For surfers who are just starting out, we highly recommend learning on surfboards that are designed for beginners and are happy to help point you in the right direction to find shops that have boards available for your needs. We want to create the best experience for our members and align them with boards that complement their skill level. 

Day Pass Membership - This is a walk-in offer intended for folks that are not in the neighborhood who would like to have access to boards from the Research Center quiver that are not reserved for the day they visiting. Boards will need to be returned within 24 hours and Single Session.

Monthly Membership - Monthly Members of the Research Center are allowed up to a 3 day holding period for each board. Ongoing files will be kept to document the experimentation process, this can also be used for custom board ordering through the shapers we work with. 

Extended Membership - Members have the same benefits as Monthly Members and are allowed holding periods of 7 days.
