5'4" Ryan Lovelace Sidecut Keel
Ryan Lovelace's Sidecut Keel Fish is a high performance oriented derivative of the classic keel fish that allows one to draw fish lines with an added amount of vertical surfability. The outline follows that of a voluminous, retro fish; however, rather than the ending tail curve fanning outward, it contracts back inward after the keel fins allowing the tail block to remain narrower. The deck is fairly flat but transitions smoothly to a more beveled rail with a boxy foil. In addition, the rail's trailing edge holds a hard edge up into the middle of the board. Lastly, the bottom contours begin with a convex entry that rolls into a light double concave through the middle of the board and into a single concave out the tail.
