10'0" Gato Heroi Szaber
Hold onto your seat, the Szaber is an extremely fast and exciting trim machine. This 10'0" wide point center, glider style outline has a pulled in, pointed nose and pin tail that is accentuated by the board being rather narrow overall and thus making the board appear longer. The bottom contour is heavily rolled all the way from the nose to the tail albeit flattens out slightly from the fin down. The Szaber runs thin but the center thinness is exaggerated by the knifey rail foil that's bladed out, the rail is foiled slightly more turned up in the nose, 50/50 in the center, and slightly turned down in the tail. The rocker profile is built for speed, very flat with a little bit of tail rocker to allow this beast to crank some massive carves. Don't be scared, this thing flies but it also really likes to be walked around all over and especially digs being surfed heavily off the tail. Power through tiny waves to focus more on dancing around from nose to tail or take this out into some medium or larger sized waves to surf more of the wave and feel the Szaber rip through turns.

The Daydream Research Center curates a selection of boards that are best suited for intermediate or higher skill level. The design attributes of these boards can be difficult for those with less surfing experience to enjoy. For surfers who are just starting out, we highly recommend learning on surfboards that are designed for beginners and are happy to help point you in the right direction to find shops that have boards available for your needs. We want to create the best experience for our members and align them with boards that complement their skill level.
Day Pass Membership - This is a walk-in offer intended for folks that are not in the neighborhood who would like to have access to boards from the Research Center quiver that are not reserved for the day they visiting. Boards will need to be returned within 24 hours and Single Session.
Monthly Membership - Monthly Members of the Research Center are allowed up to a 3 day holding period for each board. Ongoing files will be kept to document the experimentation process, this can also be used for custom board ordering through the shapers we work with.
Extended Membership - Members have the same benefits as Monthly Members and are allowed holding periods of 7 days.
