Tyler Warren is one of the great contemporary surfer/shapers of Southern California. He can shred and shape a wide variety of boards from shortboards to mid lengths to logs. The Quadratic Formula is a gentleman's choice for a shreddy quad designed to provide maneuverability in steep, critical sections. The outline is balanced with a more pulled in shortboard nose that trails down to pulled in pin. The bottom contour starts with a mild single concave beneath the chest and fades into a spiral vee out the tail. The rails are soft for most the board and end with a hard edge. The rocker has just the right amount of lift for punchy surf.
