Marc Andreini is on of California's most seasoned veteran board builders who was shaping and shredding during surfing's Transition Era and still continues to shape and shred boards derived from this significant period in surf history. Andreini's Vaquero model is one of his most popular designs as it is versatile and user friendly with a thicker and boxier rail foil in comparison to other displacement hull designs. This is a high speed, down the line design that yields itself to front foot oriented patterns of wave dancing but also allows the rider to incorporate back foot projection for banking turns in more critical parts of the wave.

The Daydream Research Center curates a selection of boards that are best suited for intermediate or higher skill level. The design attributes of these boards can be difficult for those with less surfing experience to enjoy. For surfers who are just starting out, we highly recommend learning on surfboards that are designed for beginners and are happy to help point you in the right direction to find shops that have boards available for your needs. We want to create the best experience for our members and align them with boards that complement their skill level. 

Day Pass Membership - This is a walk-in offer intended for folks that are not in the neighborhood who would like to have access to boards from the Research Center quiver that are not reserved for the day they visiting. Boards will need to be returned within 24 hours and Single Session.

Monthly Membership - Monthly Members of the Research Center are allowed up to a 3 day holding period for each board. Ongoing files will be kept to document the experimentation process, this can also be used for custom board ordering through the shapers we work with. 

Extended Membership - Members have the same benefits as Monthly Members and are allowed holding periods of 7 days.
