5'0" Tyler Warren Ted Spencer Model (Used)
5'0" x 20 5/8" x 2 1/2"
Tyler Warren knows how much we love the Transition Era so he shaped us a special run of boards he designed with specific surfers and films in mind. This model in particular comes from Ted Spencer's part in George Greenough's film "The Innermost Limits of Pure Fun" where Spencer shapes himself a board based off Greenough's Velo Spoon outdoors and gives it a nice blue airbrush like this board here. The outline is stubby and wide with a centered wide point and nice round nose complemented by a arcing tail. The bottom contour has a light rolled entry and fades to a subtle spiral vee out the tail. The rails are forgiving and the rocker profile is fairly flat with a little more kick in the nose. This board is a blast in soft surf, you can ride it on small throwaway days or get it into some medium sized surf to really watch it come to life and bank some big, arching carves.
