Between recording albums, touring, going on surf trips, and running the Costa Mesa Conceptual Art Center, Costa Mesa's Alex Knost manages to squeeze in some time to shape some select sleds.

New from BMT this sled is a combination of a couple different design ideas we've been seeing from Alex lately. The outline has the wide point pushed way up front and tapers pretty quickly into a pulled in rounded square tail. The rail foil reminds us of the single fins being made in the 70s that were thick, and had a hard edge travelling the length of the board. The bottom contour starts relativley flat in the nose and enters a slight vee through the remainder of the board. The rocker profile is balanced with a bit of flip in the nose and tail. The makeup of all these characteristics allow for the board to be ridden as aggressivley or as lazily as desired. We like that.

*No Fin Included
